As travel planners, one of the benefits we offer is traveling along with a group to ensure an enhanced experience, address any challenges, and be available to assist as needed. We recently hosted a large wedding group at Azul Beach Negril and are here to share our involvement and typical timeline of a destination wedding.
We arrived at the resort the day before majority of the wedding guests. The day started with a meeting with the wedding planner and concierge staff. Beach bags, itineraries, and gifts from our office were assembled to be handed out to each wedding guest.
Upon arrival, the guests were greeted with champagne and a cold, refreshing towel. After completing the private check in, they were sent to relax with the bride and groom on a private beach area with their very own beach butler. Talk about top notch service!
The following day, the group enjoyed a catamaran ride or a cooking class. How cool! In the evening, it was time for the rehearsal dinner. Super exciting! The big day is near!
Woke up to a beautiful sunrise on November 10. It's wedding day! The bridal party enjoyed a private bridal suite in the spa. Ooh la la! The gentlemen had a wonderful, relaxing room. They both were stocked with gourmet bites and beverages. Outside there was hint of rain, which is supposed to be good luck on your wedding day! A backup plan was in place should the weather turn bad, but it turned out perfect for the ceremony, complete with a beautiful reception on the beach.
We were happy to be there and be part of such a momentous occasion. Each wedding may be unique but the service we offer remains the same. We manage questions, room requests, confirm airport transportation, make spa appointments, dinner reservations, provide general assistance, and act as a liaison between guests and staff. Our goal is to remove stress and create the best wedding experience!
