Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique-Adult Only All Inclusive

We recently spent 3 nights at this amazing resort! Blue Diamond Luxury Boutique was an incredible experience from the moment I walked into the lobby. The lobby is an open-air lobby with koi ponds on the sides with an immediate sense of feeling both luxury and serene. My Cenote Laguna Junior Suite was ready upon my arrival, and I was immediately taken by golf cart to my room. The concierge invited me to take a few minutes to freshen up, and he would run me down to the beach for lunch.

My room was large and luxurious! There was a two sided balcony with floor to ceiling windows taking full advantage of the cenote view! The bathroom was incredible! Double sinks, separate vanity, two showers and outdoor tub. WOW! On the balcony there was a table and chairs and two loungers.

After seeing my room, I headed down to the beach for lunch. I was told along the way that golf carts run along the path as the resort is large (30 acres), plus there are bicycles located throughout the property. You are free to use and leave whenever you get where you are going! I enjoyed a light lunch, and then headed to the beach. It was a gorgeous stretch of beach (resort is located in Playa del Carmen area).

The next day the resort hosted us on a day at the beach excursion. We took a boat from the dock located at the resort and headed out to sea. The boat was stocked up with snorkel equipment, snacks and drinks. We stopped to snorkel along the way, before making our way to Maroma Beach for a picnic. After enjoying a lunch on the beach, we spent some time swimming and sunbathing before heading back. That evening we enjoyed a Mexican themed fiesta night!

The next day was my favorite! We enjoyed Temazcal and a swim in the cenote. Temazcal is an experience led by a shaman. It is a two hour ritual that is held in a hut. It can be a very intense experience and can get very warm. Afterwards we were given fresh fruit dipped in honey, and it tasted amazing! Then we went for a dip in the crystal clear waters of the cenote. It was amazing experience. This was one of the most unique experiences I have enjoyed in Mexico, and I highly recommend trying it if you get the chance. It was hot, but not unbearable. I am happy to discuss in detail anytime!

That evening we were treated to another Mayan blessing by an ancient shaman. And, then were led down to the cenote to have a beautiful dinner and a Mayan show. The food was delicious! I didn't expect so many courses, so I was stuffed. They made so many specialty margaritas, I could only try little sips. This would be an incredible spot for a wedding reception!

All in all, this resort was truly a unique and luxury experience. Being such a small resort (in terms of rooms), they offered a one staff to two guest ratio, making it the service amazing. The staff was wonderful and incredibly accommodating. I cannot wait to go back again!
